Welcome to UCI TTURC!   It is clear that there are many different factors that work together to lead young people from their first cigarette to addiction.   Social influences, biological predisposition, psychological issues, access to tobacco products, and pharmacological variables are just a few.

It is our shared vision to study psychological, behavioral, and biological characteristics that underlie tobacco use and addiction in adolescents and young adults. 

We are excited at the opportunity for sharing our research in a coordinated effort to find better ways to prevent youth tobacco use.
